I did a short story for Kel McDonald's upcoming Can I Pet Your Werewolf? Kickstarter (coming in May!) that I put up for $3+ patrons -- it's a glimpse into Herb's backstory as a young gay werewolf!
Isn't it funny how you can give others a pep talk about communication but then it comes to your own stuff and you just ... well .... fall flat on your face.
SOME NEWS! I have a new webcomic with LINE Webtoon starting up in a few months (deets to come!) that Entertainment Weekly gave a shout-out to, very exciting! It's called Assassin Roommate and it'll be in color and updated weekly and amazing, I hope you'll all read it!

GAH sorry for all the kerfuffle this week with the comic - apparently the landscapers at my apartment complex took out the internet line while I was off gallivanting at ECCC, and it only just got fixed yesterday. When in doubt, you can always follow my Insta's and Twitter's and FB's and if something like that happens again, I'll always post there in lieu!
I'm still recovering from said ECCC but it was a TOTAL BLAST ahhhh I had so much fun! Met so many new people, caught up with old favorites, and managed to stay awake for each day of the con AND post-con parties after. Now I'm back and emerged in my first week of full-time freelance work! I'm already scheming to see what more I can do for you guys (more Bonnie's each week?? Resurrect some color strips?) It's terrifying and a new adventure and I'm super thrilled. I'll be sharing more with you guys here and on my Patreon about it, and as always feel free to share your thoughts with me here or there!

That's it, The Dapper Werewolf, a wardrobe shop for werewolves who want to look classy while wearing indestructible, flexible clothing. Someone take this idea and run with it!

I'll be in a row surrounded by stellar comickers like Jen Bartel, Kevin Wada, Babs Tarr - just a WEEEE bit intimidating. But if you're in the Seattle scene the first weekend in March, come visit!

So I have some big news from Monica Work Land ... which is that after 15 years of having a day job, I will be venturing whole hog into the full-time freelance world! I've been wanting to make this leap for a looooong time (probably for most, if not ALL of those 15 years) but never really worked it out. Now I've got some gigs coming up (more on that when I can share - which will actually be soon!) that will make that possible, and though it's still scary and intimidating I'm super thrilled to be attempting to do what I love full time (more detailed musings on that can be found on my Patreon). I have a feeling I'll be a LOT more vocal (*ahem* desperate) in the future when I mention sales and new book releases and commission specials n' things. Just wanted to give all of you a heartfelt THANK YOU for reading my comics and supporting me along the way - I couldn't do it without m' lovely readers! (and I've already had a few questions about Bonnie, and don't worry, she and the strip will continue!)
