Updated every Tuesday & Thursday!

But about what??

So THIS WEEKEND I'll be at DiNK Denver with all my usual and newer comics, mini-comics, and prints AND will be doing commissions, so come out and visit if you're in the Mile High area! Which is basically like Cloud City where Lando lives, right?

There’s something both earthy and retro about Monica Gallagher’s style — which is perfectly in keeping with the nature of her brazenly femme heroine, Bonnie N. Collide.

Isn't it funny how you can give others a pep talk about communication but then it comes to your own stuff and you just ... well .... fall flat on your face.

SOME NEWS! I have a new webcomic with LINE Webtoon starting up in a few months (deets to come!) that Entertainment Weekly gave a shout-out to, very exciting! It's called Assassin Roommate and it'll be in color and updated weekly and amazing, I hope you'll all read it!

Also, I just posted a new autobio comic on my Patreon page for $1+ peeps!

Sneak attack!

GAH sorry for all the kerfuffle this week with the comic - apparently the landscapers at my apartment complex took out the internet line while I was off gallivanting at ECCC, and it only just got fixed yesterday. When in doubt, you can always follow my Insta's and Twitter's and FB's and if something like that happens again, I'll always post there in lieu!

I'm still recovering from said ECCC but it was a TOTAL BLAST ahhhh I had so much fun! Met so many new people, caught up with old favorites, and managed to stay awake for each day of the con AND post-con parties after. Now I'm back and emerged in my first week of full-time freelance work! I'm already scheming to see what more I can do for you guys (more Bonnie's each week?? Resurrect some color strips?) It's terrifying and a new adventure and I'm super thrilled. I'll be sharing more with you guys here and on my Patreon about it, and as always feel free to share your thoughts with me here or there!

Fran vs. Slam on gender ease-a-date-ability!

Well IT'S TIME, Emerald City Comic Con is THIS Thursday through Sunday! I am still taking commission requests beforehand, though I won't be working on them till the show. So if you'd like one, send me an email (lipstickisspress@gmail.com) and let me know what you want, pencil or ink, and it'll be at the top of my pile while I'm at the show! (You can find commission prices/examples here!) OR you can let me know at the show and I'll let you know my availability! This year I'm a Guest (wee!) sitting alongside an all-star line-up in Artist Alley at Table I-1

Here are some of the new things I'll have with me - a brand new romance mini-comic called Martial Outlet (available only as a PDF at the moment, but will be in print and on Comixology soon!) and Stucky and Buffy prints.

Has Slam not realized this by now?

*GASP* Slam's real name IS REVEALED! As many of you know, in derby people have their own individual Derby Names, which many of their friends within derby refer to them by. AND very seldom discover their real names, leading to a fun secret identity that only derby-ers know about. When people ask me if I know so-and-so because she used to skate for Charm City, the league I skated for, it's nearly impossible for me to remember unless they know their derby name. Fun Fact! Derby Mafia for life!

Will we ever discover Bonnie and Mimi's real names??

P.S. I had a fantastic time at Thought Bubble and then a great time in Dublin. It was really hard coming back, but some of you have sent me kind words of love and hope and I really, really appreciate it. <3

Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five

A big huge shoutout to all of you lovely people I met at Thought Bubble this past weekend! Even losing my luggage and being in the same outfit for days and only having a portion of my books for the first day of the con didn't dampen my spirits! (more on that later, probably posted in comic form on my Patreon page!) Because all of you were so delightful to talk to and I love coming to that show. <3  SO NOW my friends and I are on a mini-comics retreat in the lovely Dublin, so here's a sketch of a happy version of What Slam's Family Could Look Like to tide you over till I'm back next week! (and if you want to keep up with my Dublin adventures, check out my Instagrams!)

Once again, this year I'm lucky to be going to THOUGHT BUBBLE! Shout-out to all my UK readers who will be there, you can find me at Table 80 in the Royal Armouries Hall! I'll have some Bonnie books with me so you can avoid those insane shipping fees and buy it directly from me and my jet-lagged face! Hope to see all of you there this weekend!

(Also, I'll be in Dublin for a bit after the show if anyone has any pubs they want to recommend! I'm a gluten-free weirdo who loves cider and wine. ;) )

Bonnie's body is made up of 20% fun and 80% competitive spirit.

I'll be at SPX this weekend at Table W-29 (that's against the back wall, WALL PARTY), where I'll have a few new prints from Baltimore Comic Con AND will be debuting my latest mini comic:

After the show I'll have it up for sale in my shops, or $3 Patrons get the PDF and $10 Patrons get the book mailed to them along with some other goodies this month!

Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five #489

Slam is permanently set to Flirt Mode, all the time.

I know I just got through one convention, but another one is right around the corner! SPX, my first beloved convention (that I've been going to since - ACK - 2002??) is happening Sept. 17 - 18th! I'll have a new mini comic debuting (pics once I get them back from the printer) and new prints and things for sale. If you want a commission done pre-show, give me a holler!

Bonnie N. Collide, Nine to Five #488

THANKS AGAIN everyone who came out to Baltimore Comic Con this weekend! It was like one big reunion party of friendly faces from my past and present! You all kept me busy with commission sketches (which I looooove) of your favorite people/characters, which you can check out on my Instagram page (I'll be posting process stuff on them for $3 Patreon peeps this week!). And guess what - in two weeks is SPX, my 2nd local fun con, where I'll be debuting a new mini comic! And of course, still doing sketches - so feel free to give me a shout-out ahead of time if you'd like to put in your order before the show!

Updated every Tuesday & Thursday!

Everyone makes Dating Pacts of one kind or another, right?

So this week kicks off LOCAL CON MONTH for me - this Friday thru Sunday is Baltimore Comic Con, and in a few weeks is the beloved SPX! I'll have books and prints, will have a new mini comic for SPX (more on that later) AND will be doing sketches before and during the show, if you're interested in getting on the list!

Here's an awesome map my friend Kata Kane created to show you where I'll be sitting at Baltimore (A218) as well as my other local comics friends of our group Bmore Into Comics:
