So, when we left Chapter 13 a drunk girl was being drunk and decided to insult Summer at Caden’s special hidey spot, Diego’s Bar. To quote Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, uh … big mistake. Big. Huge! Caden’s hackles went up, he put the drunkie in her place, and then he shuttled Summer out of there. But should Summer interpret his fierce protectiveness as friendship? Or something *dramatic music* … MORE?

To complicate the turmoil of feelings Summer’s experiencing already, it happens to be FAMILY DAY on campus, and she’s confronted with having dinner with Kevin, his mom, and Summer’s dad. Tensions are already hot because, of course, Kevin’s being a dick, and Summer just doesn’t want to put up with his bullshit anymore. Enter … drama!
