*GASP* Slam's real name IS REVEALED! As many of you know, in derby people have their own individual Derby Names, which many of their friends within derby refer to them by. AND very seldom discover their real names, leading to a fun secret identity that only derby-ers know about. When people ask me if I know so-and-so because she used to skate for Charm City, the league I skated for, it's nearly impossible for me to remember unless they know their derby name. Fun Fact! Derby Mafia for life! 

Will we ever discover Bonnie and Mimi's real names??

P.S. I had a fantastic time at Thought Bubble and then a great time in Dublin. It was really hard coming back, but some of you have sent me kind words of love and hope and I really, really appreciate it. <3

A big huge shoutout to all of you lovely people I met at Thought Bubble this past weekend! Even losing my luggage and being in the same outfit for days and only having a portion of my books for the first day of the con didn't dampen my spirits! (more on that later, probably posted in comic form on my Patreon page!) Because all of you were so delightful to talk to and I love coming to that show. <3  SO NOW my friends and I are on a mini-comics retreat in the lovely Dublin, so here's a sketch of a happy version of What Slam's Family Could Look Like to tide you over till I'm back next week! Soooo, since the gift-giving season is almost upon us. I'm going to open up slots for watercolor couple portrait commissions from now until December 10th (in theory to give me enough time to have them done/shippable before the holidays). The portraits are of whatever couple combo you want -  human + human, animal + human, animal + animal! But just two creatures per portrait. 

Here's an example of what they'll look like - featuring me and my monster ginger kitty!

They'll all be original watercolors, 8" x 8" square, $65. I'm going to limit them to 30 slots for now, and I'll open more if I'm feeling confident I can get more done!

I'm back from NYCC! I have the delightful Con Crud or Con Plague or whatever the cool kids are calling it now ... Con Seasonal Allergies? That one sounds pretty lame. But I had a GREAT time and was so excited to meet familiar faces and greet new faces with my own face! I might be Con Delusional, so please excuse all the ramblings I'm putting here. Sorry for the lateness on this strip, but there'll be another Bonnie this week, just when you least expect it!

For those of you who may not be aware, it's Bisexuality Awareness week! A time to celebrate all the magical people out there who, like Bonnie, don't necessarily stick to one gender preference or another. Many self-identified bisexuals feel invisible much of the time, so it's nice to take a moment to recognize and appreciate them. Hooray! Here's a flashback to back when Bonnie first came out to Stuart, and in the strip!

I know I just got through one convention, but another one is right around the corner! SPX, my first beloved convention (that I've been going to since - ACK - 2002??) is happening Sept. 17 - 18th!
